Enjoyed nice weather out there this week with a few thunderstorms around the area, mainly to our south and east with not a lot of activity across the San Bernardino Mountains. A drier southwest flow will develop through the weekend, cutting off the monsoon flow with near-normal temperatures. This trough will deepen across the west through next week, leading to gusty west winds during the afternoons and cooler, fall-like weather. Expect partly cloudy skies tonight, becoming clear overnight with lows in the 40s. Expect a nice weekend under sunny skies with highs in the mid-70s, west winds 10-15 mph during the afternoons. Temperatures will start to cool early next week as highs drop into the lower 70s on Monday, reaching the mid-60s by the middle of the week with gusty west winds to 20 mph at times. Overnight temperatures will also begin cooling off with lows falling into the 30s. Fair and a little warmer by next weekend under building high pressure as our forecast remains dry for now.
